When do kittens get their first shots?

Ideally your kitten should receive their first vaccine at 8 weeks of age.

How often do my kittens need a vaccine?

Your kitten will also require vaccine boosters at 12 and 16 weeks of age to ensure they have been provided with adequate immunity. They will require yearly boosters as well.

Are there any risk associated with vaccines?

Vaccines are safe and effective when given at the appropriate intervals. Some kittens may be lethargic for a day or two following vaccines and quickly return to their normal self. Serious reactions are very rare. If you are concerned that your kitten is experiencing a vaccine reaction please contact us.
